The SCORE Project

Rubber Track and Turf Field
SCORE is proposing an 8-lane rubber track built in accordance with NFHS engineering and design standards to support community events, provide a nearly all-weather area for walking/jogging/running, and a competitive space for school athletes, AST Academy Cadets and the community at large to train.
A turf infield, similar in grade to Upper Moller Field and in accordance with NFHS standards would support any and all field activities for club sports, family recreation, soccer, football, Middle and High School Track & Field, and community events.
While the final site has not yet been determined, Lower Moller Field and Kimsham Fields are both being considered as options.

Women's Turf Softball Field
SCORE is proposing an NFHS/ASA regulation compliant turf women's softball field to be built on the existing field at Lower Kimsham. This would provide the community with a nearly all-weather facility to use for High School and Amateur softball leagues, community events and family and individual recreation.
Explore the possibilities!
We know you're excited to get this party started. We're excited, too! We are working tirelessly to ensure this project is done right so the facilities will last and serve our community for decades to come!
To effectively manage this big project, we have to break it down into phases:

As of November 13, 2025, we're solidly in
Phase 1: Feasibility Analysis.
We're at the very beginning stages of Phase 1 right now. This phase isn't sexy or exciting, we get it. But it's absolutely crucial in identifying the best location and needs for constructing the facilities. This phase will involve structural, environmental, geotechnical, and all sorts of big-brain sciencey kind of analyses. But don't worry! With every hurdle we go over (see what I did there? Track and field pun... Ha!) things will get more exciting! So stick with us!
